Playtech (AIM: PTEC), the international designer, developer and licensor of software to the online, mobile and land-based gaming industry, today announces that its wholly owned subsidiary Videobet, has signed a joint venture agreement with Unicum Gaming Group, Russia's largest producer of gaming equipment.
Videobet is the world leader in server supported, land-based gaming and this joint venture will consist of the deployment of 500 BLINGtm multi-game machines in a land-based configuration in several casinos across the Ukraine.
The BLINGtm multi-game package for the Ukraine market will include popular slot games including Dr. Lovemore, Desert Treasure, and Queen of the Pyramids, along with classic games like Black Jack and Roulette. The package will also feature games targeted specifically to the Ukraine market like Zka Ska.
The deployment is expected to take place during the second quarter of 2008.
